About MixList
MixList lists crypto exchanges that let you swap without ID, and grades each one from A to F on KYC and AML, alongside its fee, speed and guarantee.
KYC grades
Every exchange gets a grade from A to F for how likely it is to ask for ID or screen your coins. A is green and best, F is red and worst.
| A | No KYC / AML No ID checks and no AML screening of your coins. | 9 |
| B | No KYC, light AML No ID checks. Deposits can be screened, and a flagged swap is refunded rather than held. | 3 |
| C | Rare KYC ID is only asked in rare, risk-based cases. | 0 |
| D | Possible KYC A flagged swap can be held until you verify your identity. | 0 |
| E | Frequent KYC ID checks are common, especially above set limits. | 0 |
| F | KYC / AML required An account and ID are required to swap. | 0 |
How we check exchanges
- Read the rules. Terms of service and AML policy, looking for when ID can be asked.
- Check the numbers. Published fee, typical swap time, and any guarantee deposit.
- Swap for real. For "Tested" exchanges we make a small swap ourselves.
- Keep it current. User reports can lower a grade or remove a listing.
FAQ
Does MixList hold my funds?
No. MixList only links to exchanges. Every swap happens on the exchange's own website.
What does "Tested" mean?
We made a real swap on that exchange ourselves. Other exchanges are listed after a check of their website and terms.
How is the KYC grade decided?
We read the exchange's terms and AML policy, look at whether it can ask for ID or hold flagged deposits, check what users report, and for verified exchanges what happened on our own swap. A means no KYC and no AML checks, F means ID is required.
What is a guarantee?
Some exchanges keep a deposit with a third party that can cover you if a swap goes wrong and the exchange does not fix it.
Can I get my exchange listed?
Yes, through the submit form. We check every exchange by hand. A listing is not an endorsement.
Does MixList track me?
No trackers, no analytics and no cookies for visitors.
